1 / 2Avon Valley Adventure Park
π Keynsham, South West
Adventure park spanning 90+ acres with park rides, Dinosaur Valley animatronic dinosaurs, farm animals to meet and feed, indoor soft play, and water slides. Seasonal events include foam parties, silent discos, pig races, and Christmas shows.
We came today an it was a day full of activities. We did the gingerbread decorations, seen grinch, fed the animals (i think having to pay Β£5 to feed the reindeer was a bit much). We used some of the rides and outdoor play area which was lovely. We found that as it was spread out it did not feel overally busy which was great. We arrived at 10:30 and left at 3pm and there was still so much more we could of done. The only thing that let it down was the santa show was about 40 minutes and for the 2.5 & 1 year old we had they just wouldnt sit and this was the only way we could get to see santa. We waited the whole 40 minutes and then when we got in the line for santa the people in front from the first show had not yet been seen and said they had been waiting just short of an hour. We decided to give up as our 2.5 year old was restless, so we came to see santa and never got to see him. Looks like we will have to try and get space somewhere else. I think it would be good for a time to see santa on the passports you get given in the morning as there was a lot of children that didnt get to see santa, we paid just over Β£100 and had to pay for reindeers and rides and didnt get to see santa. It was a nice day out but not sure we would do it again.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for mobile families with children aged three and up who want a packed outdoor day with both rides and farm animals. Seasonal events like the Christmas experience deliver strong value. Wheelchair users face significant terrain challenges across most of the site β the accessibility advertising does not reflect the ground conditions.

βWent to Avon Valley Pumpkin Patch for my little girls 1st Halloween. Was incredible! Staff were so helpful and friendly. Lots of photo opportunities and things to do. Very lovely food options but very expensive, Β£12 for loaded fries but they were a large size and good quality. Only downside was only one baby change so always a queueβ

βWent for the pumpkin day event and it was a fun family day out. However, everything comes at an extra cost and it is more expensive than alternatives. Also, no changing table for something aimed at families was disappointing.β

ββοΈβοΈβοΈ ThreeβStar Review: Avon Valley Christmas Avon Valley Christmas offers a clean and welcoming environment, but itβs clear that parts of the experience are starting to feel dated and would benefit from some general refurbishment. The surrounding railway area in particular looks tired and really needs some attention and TLC to bring it up to the standard youβd expect for a festive attraction. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, enthusiastic, and showed real potential to deliver a great experience. However, the whole site would benefit from meaningful investment to help the team shine and to elevate the overall atmosphere. With some updates and care, it could become a much stronger Christmas destination.β
