🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children aged 1 to 11 who engage with hands-on discovery rather than passive displays. The two-hour session format keeps the experience focused. Staff are consistently excellent — one reviewer specifically named a communicator as a standout. On rainy days in Cambridge, this is the strongest indoor option for the age group.

This was a lovely few hours out with the kids. we really enjoyed the workshop and show that were very engaging for our kids aged 3-11. The centre was clean and there was plenty to do. There were plenty of friendly staff around to chat to. Plenty of parking. There are nice little walks around the Science Park as well so you can extend your day trip.

A great place to spend a couple of hours. Our children were very engaged with all the experiments (even our 1 year old!). A special thank you to Mel, who is such an incredible member of staff, she is engaging with the kids, is very friendly and full of knowledge.

Great place to spend a few hours with little ones. Our daughter had a great time - she didn’t want to leave! Lots of interactive displays and games to play with. The chocolate and bridge making workshops were lots of fun.
