1 / 3Castle batch all-inclusive SEND play area
📍 Worle, North West
Free, inclusive playground with equipment for all ages and mobility levels, including wheelchair-accessible swings and a roundabout. Parking available with street overflow nearby. No toilets or cafe on site — bring your own supplies.
Brilliant park! I have a 20month old and a 5 year old. Lots to do for different age groups. Can get very busy sometimes but that’s to be expected with anywhere on school holidays and weekends. There are no toilets. Quite a few benches and picnic tables around. Parking is limited but there is on street parking in the surrounding roads.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
The go-to free playground in Worle for families with children who have mobility needs or disabilities — wheelchair-accessible swings and roundabouts are genuinely rare at no-cost public sites. Also strong for mixed-age sibling groups. Pack drinks and snacks as a necessity, and plan toilet stops before arrival.

“Brilliant place for my 5 and 8 yr old to play. We came here during the summer holiday and it was absolutely teeming with children, so it is definitely being appreciated. My 2 definitely love all of the new apparatus. Only thing we could say is that there is not much shade.”

“We visited the new play area and it was fantastic. So much to do for all levels of ability, including wheelchair accessible swing and roundabout.”

“Amazing park for kids of all ages and abilities. Slightly unfortunate that a load of traveller caravans were camped next to it and their kids demanded my attention more than my own the whole time but still a great park.”
