1 / 2Children's Play Area Doric Park
đ Old Swan, Merseyside
Enclosed outdoor space in Liverpool's Old Swan with basic playground equipment, walking and cycling paths, and open areas for kids and dogs. Free entry. Play areas can become waterlogged after rain.
Lived here most of my life .... Always looks good apart from the selfish idiots who leave their litter like it's their right to do so or something thick like that.....on a good note the trees look great ;)
đ Family Action Verdict
Works well for local families with young children and dogs who need a contained outdoor space for a quick run-around. The enclosed perimeter is the standout feature. After any rainfall, conditions deteriorate fast â the play equipment sits in waterlogged ground that takes time to drain. Best suited for dry days when the paths are firm.

âRenovation and modification is required. Still it's a good park for walking, jogging and kids playing. During rainy season, it becomes marshy...â

âBeautiful park. But more maintenance needed. Children's play area is full of water and dirt. Still it's good for daily walking and cycling.â

Overview
Doric Park offers a fully enclosed space with basic playground equipment, open grassed areas, and paths for walking and cycling. The enclosure keeps kids and dogs contained safely. The park's main weakness is drainage â play areas collect standing water after rain, turning muddy and unusable. Litter is a recurring frustration for regulars who otherwise enjoy the tree-lined setting.
