Excellent Christmas experience! There was lots of choice for the teddy bear workshop and the finished soft toys are lovely quality. There were also lots of toys to choose from after the Father Christmas visit, some branded items too. Father Christmas himself was soft spoken and approachable, I was really impressed with how magical it was to see him with the kids. The photos taken of the visit were expensive to purchase, but the staff did allow us to take our own pictures too. Another section of the park had a big snowglobe for photo opportunities but this was an extra charge with no option to take your own pictures there. The goats were all very well mannered and happy to get some food from us! Human food was really tasty, though expensive. That’s to be expected though. We stayed in a highland lodge and it was lovely and cosy! Everything was well maintained not just at the accommodation but across the entire park. With the time it takes for the hot tub to get warm it did mean that we didn’t get to use it unfortunately.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Outstanding for families with children aged 0 to 6 β€” the hands-on animal contact at this scale is rare. The Christmas experience is particularly immersive, with staff briefed on each child in advance. Local families find membership cost-effective. Food and professional photo packages add up, so budget accordingly.

β€œWe regularly visit Cotswold farm park and I am never disappointed! The entrance fee is reasonable, the animals are well looked after and we love the fact you can hold chicks/stroke rabbits and feed lots of the goats etc! The food is brilliant and although pricey, it is good quality and v tasty! The shop is dangerous as there are so many lovely things, I always spend too much. We have just returned from the Christmas experience and wow! I went last year but this year was so much better. Despite going on a Sunday it was so quiet with no queues for anything! Jingleland with the food vans etc was a great set up and just what you need on a cold day! The build a bear and the gingerbread was a great addition to seeing father Xmas and the elves were fantastic! Good value for money, my 2 year old loved it and both adults were very impressed! Thank you!!”

β€œThis was our first visit to Cotswold Farm, we booked the santa experience for our 3 year old and it was THE best santa experience we've been so far. The time and effort taken to learn about our child to share with santa on the day was lovely, the selection of toys from santa was great. Lots of super fun activities from build a bear to decorating your gingerbread man aswell as all of the lovely animals. Such an amazing experience, well thought out and planned and great value for money. All staff were super helpful and in the festive spirit. We absolutely loved it and will be returning for sure!! Thank you for such a memorable experience.”

β€œWe’ve been frequent visitors to the farm park for 8 years with our 3 children. Every year it gets better. The farm clearly invests its profits into genuine improvements on a regular basis. If you have small children age 0-6 it’s well worth a visit and if you’re local the membership is worth the cost. Yesterday we did the Christmas experience and it was brilliant. It felt punchy price wise when booking but it was worth every penny. My daughter (5) said it was the best day of her life.”
