Draycote Water Playground
đ Rugby, West Midlands
Recently refurbished playground beside Draycote Water reservoir, featuring rope-access slides, interactive elements, and gazebo-covered picnic areas. A toddler zone is fenced separately from the main area. Paid parking via ANPR.
Well maintained and excellent facility for both toddlers and young children up to about 10 or 11. The toddler's area, which has great stuff for them to enjoy, has a gated fence but the wider playground does not. The area is just a small part of a large grassy space and then there is the lake you can walk up to easily. Toilets are available just a short walk (~100m) from the playground and were clean and well-appointed (can only review the men's side, lol)
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 3â11 who want to combine playground time with a scenic reservoir walk. The fenced toddler area suits younger children, and the refurbished climbing structures engage older ones. Parking charges apply and are enforced by ANPR cameras, so pay before leaving.

âThe refurbished playground is brilliant. It has something for all ages and some really fun, good quality equipment. It has everything. Picnic area next to it and some of them have gazebos too. The small country park area is really nice and allows dogs on leads. But the rest of the lake and cafe area does not. It gets busy in summer. You have to remember to pay for parking before you leave as they have ANPR.â
