My summer stomping grounds, there's two children enclosures with a baby one and an more adult one with benches and swings and decent round about, I don't care how old you are having a go on the tiny one person roundabout is super fun if there's someone who will spin you watch out for stray appendages. Both zones have a soft play floor also there's a decent grass area even though this is so called dog park i have never stepped in dirt. Always having fun in the two sports cages, cricket, basket ball and football well packed fun park.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

A well-structured small park that works best for mixed-age groups — under-5s have their own fenced zone as older siblings use the separate area and sports pitches. Short-visit friendly rather than a destination. Some equipment is showing age and warrants a check on arrival. Street parking can require patience at busy times.

“A small park but has lots of apparatus/park equipment. There are swings slides roundabout for children. (Has a special small area for little kids under 5). The small park had 2 football pitches with basketball nets and cricket wickets. Also for family small little grass area for chilling. Or sufficient benches to sit.”

Overview

Finch Road Park packs a structured layout into a compact footprint — a fenced under-5s enclosure with swings, slides, and a small roundabout sits separately from the older children's area with more substantial equipment. Two football pitches and sports courts with basketball nets and cricket wickets serve active older children. Soft play flooring is used in the children's areas. Street parking is available on surrounding roads.
