“I have been using this swimming pool for many years the staff are all good on the whole but I have to mention about three of them who are very good ! Alex at reception honest man and experienced who can handle a few customers at same time , good service as always also Ali and Kasra specifically at swimming poll both are very active ,very good attitude they just keep moving and control the swimming pool on their shift smoothly as well as cleaning every where ! without them the whole swimming pool area wouldn’t be that clean . They deserve a prize 🏆”

“Im currently a member of this gym and so far I've had an amazing experience, facilities wise this centre does it all. The staff here are very friendly and especially the duty manager Sebastian. He has helped me with issues I've had, he's very approachable and helpful, he has also encouraged me to come to the gym consistently. Hristo is another member of staff that is just as helpful.”

“Had a terrible, near-violent encounter with another gym member, cancelled my membership immediately. I asked him politely if we could share the bench, he stutters and falls over his words "l might be doing 10kg", "Are you doing 10kg? l might do 15kg", l am standing there waiting for him to finish, eventually he closes with "I'll just do my workout", even though l told him we were doing near identical weight, "fine" l say to myself, l walked away. l do three minutes on the bike, two warm up sets of presses, chat to two other members and come back, he says he still has 3 or 4 sets left in an arrogant and condescending tone, does the usual play on his phone, switch tracks nonsense, I ask him to hurry up and then he starts yelling at me and coming at me fists clenched. Perhaps this is normal behaviour where this guy comes from, l cannot tell. l am not paying £50 a month to be intimidated and threatened by another person. He has a thuggish attitude accompanied by yobbish behaviour. There is no way that decent people should have to contend with this type of attitude, stop patronising such businesses, this scene is very typical of what has happened to this area. There were no members of staff on site to help, a common problem with this gym. Thomas at the front desk offered polite words and said he would investigate. If you like violent people and dangerous encounters, then attend this gym, you'll get good value. To Better / Lido I will be following this up with an email to your head office and possibly a TrustPilot review if necessary.”
