1 / 2Flip Out Liverpool
📍 Liverpool, Merseyside
Multi-level indoor adventure park in Clayton Square with laser quest, bumper cars, battle cannon arena, roller rink, ninja playground, and dedicated toddler soft play. Party rooms and an on-site diner included in session pricing.
Today we had my daughter's birthday party at flip out Liverpool. The children had great 2 hours of play time and all of them were so happy. Everything was great like the games, the food, drinks and the soft play. I need also to say a big "thank you" to our sweet and kind party hostess, her name is Lilly (if I remember well). She was very kind and helpful with kids. She was very professional and explained to us everything in details. We left the place with big smiles in our faces.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children over 120cm who can access the full range of attractions. Birthday parties with a dedicated host get consistently strong reviews. Families with toddlers or children under the height threshold will find the usable area very restricted.

“This was my first visit because of a friend, and it will definitely be my last. My children are under 120 cm tall, which meant they were only allowed on a few activities. It makes absolutely no sense — they were even kept out of completely safe areas just because they were a few centimetres short of the height requirement. For the car ride activity, a supervising adult is required to sit next to the child, which is fine. But the adult must also purchase a separate ticket; otherwise, you're not allowed to sit next to your own child for their safety, and the child is not allowed on the ride. Yet they still charge a £5 entry fee for the accompanying adult, which I was charged. The skating area is extremely unsafe. The skates are mismatched, in bad condition, and look far from hygienic. There are absolutely no helmets provided. So the soft play with balls is considered “dangerous” (the floor is fire), but skating without a helmet isn’t? Thankfully, my friend’s children were there, so mine had someone to play with — otherwise, two hours with children under 120 cm would have been incredibly boring. The staff were also not helpful at all. I witnessed several incidents; I won’t generalise, but there was at least one staff member who was visibly tense and made things unnecessarily difficult. Overall, very disappointing and not worth the money.”

“I went to Flipout Liverpool yesterday with my 2 grandchildren and I will never return. It was absolutely filthy. All the steps on activities were full of filth. I didn't actually see children eating on activities, which you can sometimes see, so don't know when it was last cleaned. Everything is so dirty, not just daily dirt. My granddaughter actually got home yesterday and had a rash all around her mouth. It looks awful this morning. I'm sure it's down to the filth in there. The staff had no motivation and were so miserable. Around the cafe area was filthy with rubbish on floor around tables. Two members of staff were stood behind counter, didn't raise a smile, they were just staring into thin air. Why weren't they cleaning around, wiping dirty tables etc. What is the management role here? Also, there was a shortage of staff for the amount of people in building. There were so many children in the football pitch, someone should have been monitoring this. There was no staff on slide areas and children were running a mock, it was actually dangerous for younger children. I know parents should be monitoring but they don't. I will never return to this place. It's disgusting.”

“Edit: went on Sunday and the next Tuesday I had to call in sick with a horrendous stomach bug. Everything is still filthy, unsafe and disgusting. Cancelling the membership is the best thing I could do for my family’s health. Mr Beese should be ashamed. The place is filthy, some rubbish has been there since last week when I went. The glass door in the elevator is disgusting, I’ve never seen it clean, not even once. The staff were talking in the bar (4 girls) and some parent had to ask them to open the floor is lava when the queue of kid started to grow. No skates size one and the staff we ask didn’t care or look for us. No staff on the skates either so the place was dirty and kids were falling and needing help but obviously flip out staff don’t care. Laser quest open once in the two hours that we were there. The toilets absolutely gross. The high chairs are so gross that I have to deep clean them with wipes every single time before using them. It has gone downhill so much and so fast. Honestly better go to a different place, not worth the money.”

Overview
Flip Out Liverpool spans three floors inside Clayton Square Shopping Centre, covering laser quest, bumper cars, a battle cannon arena, interactive football, roller rink, ninja playground, ball pit, and a toddler soft play zone. Party rooms with a dedicated host are available for birthday bookings. The Diner cafe serves food on site. A 120cm height requirement locks shorter children out of most main attractions — children under that threshold are largely confined to the toddler area.
