1 / 2Funland Games Arcade
π London, Greater London
Compact arcade in Brunswick Centre near Russell Square with DDR rhythm machines, dedicated pinball alley, prize redemption games, and a downstairs VEGA zone for specialist titles. Party packages with private room access available.
This review is for anyone who's interested in this arcade's Konami / BEMANI Japanese rhythm game selection. The Ground floor games are fun, although it's a bit of a small arcade as other people have stated. Lots of DDR machines which are great to play with others, although the DDR machine closest to the entrance is extremely loud the first time I went. The other machines are perfect. I never noticed any problems. If you like DDR this will already be your favourite arcade, there is no shortage of DDR machines here. The staff are very friendly, if you have any questions or concerns just ask at the till opposite the entrance and there's always someone happy to help. There's also an area downstairs (VEGA London) with more Konami / BEMANI games. There are four SOUND VOLTEX cabinets. Two beatmania IIDX cabinets. Two pop'n music cabinets, and some other games downstairs . If you're interested in more rhythm games I recommend visiting and trying a few of these. Just ask at the till where VEGA is. In my opinion the prices are perfectly fine for the games I played. I do not go to arcades often so I don't know how it compares to more famous arcades like Tenpin. But I never had to worry about running out of credits whenever I played. This is an amazing place for everyone in Greater London to play these games in an easily accessible area only 5 minute walk away from the train station. There's also plenty of seating and a variety of shops and stores in the Brunswick Centre so if you need a break from arcade life, a meal or a refreshment is just a short walk away. The first time I went there was not very good ventilation down there, so the air was very stale. However this is not a problem anymore at all! There are more cooling fans downstairs and lots of places to sit down if you need to rest. Finally, you need cash to get an e-amusement card if you want one. It's not a big deal because the nearest ATM is at a Sainsbury's only little bit away from the arcade. If you are in Greater London and love rhythm games or just want a nice time at a friendly arcade this one is definitely a must try. And thank you very very much to the helpful staff for taking consideration of my first review!!
π Family Action Verdict
A convenient pick for families with children aged 6 and up spending a day in central London who want an hour or two of arcade gaming. The DDR machines work well for kids and teens who like rhythm games, and the prize redemption machines are a reliable draw for younger children.

βAmazing arcade in central London in the Brunswick shopping centre. Pinball, shooting, car racing, dance revolution games, basketball, whack a moly, requires card not cash! Wasnβt busy when we went, quite small so easy to get around. 2 hours and Β£20-Β£25 should be good here.β
