1 / 3Hatherop Park
π Hampton, Greater London
Small local park in Hampton featuring playground equipment, outdoor gym machines, open picnic space, and a connecting trail to Oak Avenue Nature Reserve. Popular with dog walkers and weekend footballers.
A lovely park popular with local dog walkers and football at the weekend. There's also a lovely route connecting this park to Oak Avenue Nature Reserve
π Family Action Verdict
Best for local families with children comfortable around dogs, as off-leash dogs are a constant presence throughout. The playground and gym equipment suit mixed ages for a short visit, and the connecting nature trail to Oak Avenue Nature Reserve makes it a good base for a longer family walk.

βWent there few time with kids. Have a playground which is good. Even have exercise equipments. Next to playground is open park where you can sit or do picnic. But didnβt see anyone doing few times I went. Few times I saw youngsters in bikes zooming through the path which I didnβt find secure. Also there is path way you can take and enter the walking trail. However if you are scared of dogs avoid as many dog walkers there and without leash. Itβs a narrow path so you wonβt have any space to move away. If you have pollen or grass allergy would suggest to avoid that path. You can keep playground, exercise equipment or open area. You even have benches and tables in play area in case you want sit and gossip while kids play. You can use those to spread out picnic for everyone. There was also basket ball.β
