1 / 2Holland Park Toddlers Playground
📍 Holland Park, Greater London
Holland Park's dedicated toddler playground features a vast sandpit, toddler swings, slides, and shaded seating for parents. Free entry, nearby café, toilets on-site, and the Japanese gardens a short walk away.
If we can nominate this playground, it will be "The largest sandpit in Chelsea" ;). Lovely place with a nice shady area (for parents) and enormous amount of sand (for kids). Welcome to the Holland Park Toddlers Play Area ;)
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for toddlers and preschoolers who love sand-based play — this sandpit is genuinely large and keeps children occupied for extended sessions. Arrive early on weekends to avoid the peak crowd. Spare clothes are essential as children get thoroughly sandy. The surrounding park adds real value with the Japanese garden nearby.

“Great playground with sandpit and different sections for playing. 4 toddler/baby swings and 2 sets of slides. Also nice Japanese gardens you can visit in same park”

“Only for early birds, otherwise it’s very overcrowded. Nice location, for every age, clean and enough to play”

“It is very nice playground for the little ones in beautiful surroundings. I am not a big fan of sandy playgrounds as kids get dirty quickly but they love it so that’s what matters ;) I like the fact that toilets are not far away and very nice little coffee shop.”
