Knowle park is a great park with some interesting features. The greater circular walk is almost exactly half a mile, and you will normally meet friendly dog walkers. There is a handy cut-throught from Knowle Village, across the green. There is also a stream with a wild area behind it, a pond with a small circular walk by the car park, some flower beds, a children's play area, some bookable tennis courts, a basketball practice patch (only one hoop) next to various excercise devices and a large cut grassed area split by a line of trees and uncut grass. Sometimes events are held here, but it is usually quite quiet.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

A consistently reliable park for families across all ages — the playground draws younger children, tennis and basketball suit older kids, and the half-mile circular path works for prams and strollers. Wear appropriate footwear if exploring the stream and wild area after rain as it can be muddy.

â„šī¸ What to Know Before You Go

💡Book the enclosed tennis court in advance if you plan to play — it is in regular demand
⏰Wear waterproof footwear for the stream and wild nature reserve area after rain
đŸŽŸī¸Main access points are on Lodge Road and Longdon Road with additional residential entries
🚗The half-mile circular path is pram-friendly on the main route
