1 / 2Mile End Park Leisure Centre and Stadium
π London, Greater London
Large leisure centre with a 25m pool, four-court sports hall, mega soft play structure, 84-station gym, and athletics stadium. Soft play is well-designed for toddlers aged 2+. Pool and changing rooms have ongoing cleanliness reports.
I took my boy for the soft play session and he loved it, he didnβt want to leave, I wish I knew about this soft play earlier as itβs local & affordable price. Thereβs so much to keep little ones entertained.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers and young children coming specifically for the soft play, which is well-maintained, age-appropriate, and locally affordable. Families wanting to use the pool should weigh the cleanliness notes flagged across multiple recent reviews before visiting.

βGreat place for young kids. I went with my 32-month-old and he loved exploring all the activities. The space is well designed for toddlers and very welcoming. Perfect for a fun and stimulating visit. πβ

βThis review is solely about Mile End Tennis Courts, part of the Leisure Centre. The tennis courts have been recently renovated and after several months of waiting, the result is worse than before. The surface is not suitable for tennis and certainly not for intermediate or advanced players to rally. The surface is for multi sport and not specifically for tennis, even though thatβs the only tennis court of the centre. The balls are not bouncing on the court and after one bounce they just fall dead. It gets worse with the current U.K. weather where the surface soaks water and makes it almost impossible to play. The nets have been replaced by wheelie ones which can be moved about, but donβt work properly. The tension on the nets are not kept and keep sliding down, making the net lower than normal. The courts also seem to be always in an unkept manner, with a lot of leaves and sometimes garbage around. This was a massive waste of money from the Council in attempt to renovate the courts but making it worse than what it was before. I wonβt be returning to play there.β

βmy review is about the pool and the changing room and shower - absolutely filthiest changing room i ever been to. 5 times I visited, each time it just got worse. some users of the changing room are urinating on the floors, smells of urine. shower facility has hair all over. this centre doesnβt care about its users. I will never go back again. I wouldn't even give it a single star.β
