Children's farm in Welford village spanning 12 acres with llamas, guinea pigs, ducks, and farm animals. Features indoor and outdoor play areas, giant sandpit, Beehive Café, and seasonal events including Christmas experiences.
We had a fantastic day here. You can buy animal feed which is colour coded so you know which animals you can feed. Different selection of animals from guinea pigs to llamas. Massive play area for the kids. Inside play area , small section for toddlers too. If you’re going , definitely do the foam party! We loved it as well as the kids but make sure to take towels and spare clothes! There’s a gift shop at the entrance as well as a restaurant which looked nice. (We took a picnic so can’t review the food) cappuccino’s were lovely though. Overall a good day. We spent about 4 hours there. We were on holiday but If we were in the area again we would visit.

Children from toddler age through to around 10 get a full-day visit here across animals, play areas, and seasonal activities. The foam party is a genuine highlight — bring towels and a change of clothes. The colour-coded feeding system means every child can interact with animals safely and independently.

“Visited last month to this lovely farm with more animals than I thought there would be. Activity centre there for smaller children, shop with toys, books & bits as well as a cafe although we didn't eat here but it did look nice. Really enjoyed spending a few hours here taking photos of the animals. There's a cat called Jack who wonders round. He must be the supervisor of the friendly staff! 😝 Definitely recommended”

“My kids love this place and we like visiting from time to time as it is not far from where we leave. They had upgraded a bit of the play area for kids and it is even better than was before. Baskets with food for animals are great as kids love to feed animals ;-)”
