Just Had another amazing time at JDR KARTING AND ACTIVITY CENTRE. I've visited many times over the years for karting and laser tag and always had brilliant time. Today i wanted to do something a bit different for 'date night', so thought we'd give the newly opened OCEAN ISLAND ADVENTURE GOLF a go. WOW.......... so much hard work has been put to create a fantastic setting for this activity, the UV artworks is so bright and colourful, with clever placement of lighting the artwork just pops out at you. It compliments crazy golf down to a 'T' (excuse the pun) As well as the mini golf we had a few games of the Curling, this something we both have wanted to try since watching it on the winter Olympic. While having a drink at the "Tiki Bar" debating who was the overall winner, it came down to a round on the shuffleboard for the final decider. Overall I'd say probably the best date night full of fun and laughter for a long time....... I honestly say as a date night, a get together with mates, fun time with the family to create memories, stag/hen do or even a team building event i would highly recommend a visit. WELL DONE ALL AT JDR We will be returning and probably try out the Axe throwing and/or Archery aswell

Best for families with children aged 8 and up who want more than a single activity in one visit. The UV theming is striking enough to make the mini golf feel like an event rather than a filler activity, and the surrounding venue means teenagers and adults have options beyond the golf course itself.

“From the moment you enter this amazing arena, your eyes are blown away by the colours and design. A truly glorious spectacle. The staff are very warm, friendly and welcoming. Then the fun begins when you get your clubs and ball! The layout is brilliant with every hole uniquely different and challenging. Overall, a really fun way to spend your evening with friends, family or work colleagues (brilliant for a Christmas event!). Can't wait to go again!”

““Came for the golf, stayed for the cocktails”First time visiting JDR Karting and I can’t fault it. So much to do and really reasonably priced. We went to play the crazy golf course which was amazingly themed, with some great and unusual mechanics. Ended up having a go at the curling. Never tried it before and now want to come back again to try and beat my score. See you all soon.”
