1 / 3ODEON Luxe Leeds Thorpe Park
π Colton, Yorkshire
Premium cinema at Thorpe Park featuring Dolby Cinema screen and reclining seats. Free parking on site with on-site cafe. Consistently rated as the best cinema experience in the Leeds area for big-release films.
The only place I will see films in Leeds. Literally no point going anywhere else for big films once you've been here, especially with the Dolby Cinema. Staff always really friendly & accommodating. Thanks also to manager John who very kindly sorted us out when there was issues with the screen for our original showing.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families wanting the best large-screen experience available in West Yorkshire for a blockbuster release. The reclining seats are a genuine step up for children who struggle to stay remains in standard cinema chairs. Check that your chosen film is Dolby-mastered for maximum impact.

βExcellent cinema if you want to enjoy real experience. Comfy seats and screen for the premium one. Expensive though but all worth it. The food is good too. Clean seats and recliners seats excellent for the movie experience. I would recommend the premium recliner seats. All worth it.β

βAlways excellent. Well worth my hour drive to get there, especially when I stay for a second film. Staff friendly, place is clean and the seats mega comfy! Just wish my local Odeon was even half as good as Leeds!β

βWent to the Odeon Cinema for the new Avatar. The movie was clearly not mastered for Dolby Cinema. It would have been nice if Odeon mentioned this on their site as a disclaimer. The experience was good but it could have been better. It didnβt use up the entire screen and barely touched the capabilities of Dolby Atmos. It also had an issue where many scenes throughout the movie would cause the refresh rate of the projector to drop to like 10Hz. Iβm not sure why this happened. Whether itβs the movies fault or the cinemas fault but it was very jarring and ruined the experience of those scenes. Ultimately, I feel like I paid a premium when I could have had the same experience elsewhere for cheaper, such as Vue Epic.β

Overview
ODEON Luxe Thorpe Park houses a Dolby Cinema screen alongside standard auditoriums, all fitted with reclining seats. Free parking removes one of the usual Leeds city-centre trade-offs. Staff are consistently rated as friendly and proactive β the manager earns specific mentions for resolving technical issues without prompting. The Dolby screen is best suited to films mastered for the format; reviewers non-Dolby-mastered releases don't fully exploit the system's capabilities.
