🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for children aged 4 and above who enjoy imaginative and physical play — the pirate ship and maze reward older climbers more than toddlers. The Gruffalo trail connection makes it a strong half-day destination. Unfenced park means runners need close supervision. Plan around the weekend-only cafe if refreshments matter.

“Lovely, different little park. Fantastic large pirate ship for older ones to play in but slightly hard to get younger ones in and out. Good little maze to walk around with a frame in the middle. One swing broken but a baby swing and large circular swing working. Good bit of grass as well for running around but not fenced.”

“The park is very good if I had to put a problem on it, it would be that when it rains that we get a bit muddy and it becomes difficult to walk but for the rest it is a very original park for children to play and let their imagination fly”
