Absolutely loved it here. We went to the family introduction session. The guys were informative and supported everyone fully. They change the walls weekly, and they have membership, so you can go as many times as you want for 1 monthly amount. My son, who is 7, went 4 times in the first week. There is also free parking, a small kitchen for hot and cold drinks and little snacks. It's really worth a visit

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families new to bouldering who want structured introduction before climbing independently. Children from age 7 are well catered for through the coaching programme. Regular visitors benefit significantly from the monthly membership model, which rewards frequent visits with unlimited access.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

Borrow chalk bags and shoes on-site — no need to buy equipment for a first visit
🎟️Monthly membership gives unlimited access — worthwhile from around two visits per week
🚗Kids coaching is split by age group — check the schedule for your child's bracket

Took daughter on a taster session as she does rock climbing but hadn't tried bouldering before. Great facility. Big bouldering room with ever changing holds for all abilities. Toilet and changing room and hot and cold drinks available. Great session was had she loved it. Also had chalk bags and shoes to lend. We will return. Update. We come most weeks now as it's so good to push and challenge yourself.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A superb climbing wall – the routes are always well thought out, varied, and fun for every level of climber. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the whole place has a great energy that makes each visit enjoyable. It’s a fantastic facility that’s clearly cared for and constantly improving. Honestly, it’s so good I wish they would open another wall too!

Cool rock wall in Bolton with interesting route setting and great training areas. Had a great set of lessons with Ben, would highly recommend! Only 3 sessions with Ben have already led to improvement in max grade of climbing, as well as being very fun!
