1 / 3SEA LIFE Hunstanton
📍 Hunstanton, Greater London
Compact aquarium with Humboldt penguins, Asian short-clawed otters, Inca terns, and a sea turtle across themed zones. Includes a Discovery Pool touch experience and walk-through underwater tunnels. Toddler-friendly throughout.
this is a lovely place in Hunstanton, worth the lengthy drive from Suffolk. Staff is very friendly, engaging and kind, especially the girls in the "touch our friends, the starfishes" corner :) . Place did never get boring for neither our two or four year old. If anything we left under tears because it was so good. Bring your own lunch, there are no healthy choices for kids in the cafe or anywhere nearby. Opposite Sealife you can book an amphibious HGV ride to see wild seal colonies off shore, so you can make it an awesome marine day for the entire family.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 2–8 who want close-up marine encounters without a major city commute. The otter talk and starfish touch corner hold toddler attention well. Older children who've visited larger aquariums may find the scale modest, so combine with nearby seal-watching boat tours for a fuller marine day.

“Wonderful place, great friendly staff and a diverse animals. We spent ages in each section, especially in the Otter tunnels after Matt’s lighthearted and educational Otter talk. We’ll be coming back every year, as its not too busy early-on compared to others, so it’s really nice to have more room to move about.”

“When we paid we thought - ok, of course it is expensive, the only entertainment for miles around .. But it's absolutely worth it! Couldn't even imagine it is so big, and the variety of species, and how close you can get to them. Wonderful!”

“I definitely recommend looking at booking tickets beforehand as I only realised after going that we could’ve paid for students tickets which would’ve saved us £10. The place itself is small compared to others but it’s definitely still big enough and worth checking out. They had a wide range of animals and exhibitions and their staff are very knowledgeable and helpful which made our experience better. It was a somewhat quick walkthrough for us but you can definitely take more time to explore if you so like.”
