Year-round indoor water park at Center Parcs Whinfell Forest, maintained at 29.5°C. Features wave pools, flumes, rapids, a heated outdoor pool, and dedicated zones for younger children with wristband locker access throughout.
The wave is every 30mins or so, with 2 alarm warnings. Theres a fast flowing area to take you round, with many kids enjoying it as much as the adults. The outdoor pool upstairs is so lovely and warm, once you've braved the gap from door to pool. There's also slides, indoor and outdoor. A large sectioned off for young ones with free to use float vests. Many areas to discover, bubble beds, jacuzzi, downstair outdoor pool. We booked a cabana and used it a lot, and ordered food and drinks which came quickly. There where many steps to get to them. But once upstairs you have toilet availability. There's work going off but not too bad. The changing rooms, single or family, open up to free lockers that work by your door band! Shampoo/body wash in showers. Free hairdryers. Costume spin dryer free!

“Fantastic pool at Centre Parcs at Whinfell Forest. Suitable for all ages, with dedicated areas for little ones. Slides, Flumes, Rapids, Wave Pool big enough that even when busy it's still good. There's also benefit of Outdoor heated pool with chairs on pool side to lounge on in the sun. Plus added visit by a Duck swimming around the people in the pool, kids loved that. Cafe serving hot and cold drinks plus food even Alcohol if that's required. Major bonus for us as a family- you can take your phone in and use it for photos and videos. We took tons of pics and videos which you can't usually do in Public Pool.”

“Very clean and efficient changing facilities with a good entry and exit system and door lock. Good lockers, activated with your wrist band. Friendly and helpful staff / life guards. Cafe inside the swimming area with nice food.”

“Overall a nice experience. When I had an issue staff members were friendly; so not sure what some people here are on about saying the staff members are rude. There’s some minor TLC needed, but nothing serious - everything is in good shape and functional. During our visit all pools, flumes, canyon ride and the tropical cyclone were open and working. Changing rooms could use a little more ventilation - they do get very stuffy. A few sun loungers would be a great addition.”
