1 / 3Telford Ice Rink & Soft Play
📍 Telford, North West
Ice skating and indoor soft play under one roof in Telford. Public sessions, Tots on Ice programmes, and skating lessons run alongside soft play areas priced separately for under-5s and juniors.
Best soft play in Telford! Always clean and well maintained. Exceptional price with TLC card. Won’t be going else where ever again! Plus the staff and brilliant, helpful and professional
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families wanting two different activities in one visit — younger children in soft play as older ones skate, or the whole group on the ice together. TLC cardholders get exceptional value. First-time skaters should use the penguin and polar bear aids available on the rink.

“Good yes. Lots of ice. Very old ice skates but that is to be expected. After a session the insides of my feet felt as if they were worn down to the bone. But, I have come to expect this as part of the experience. Maybe one day an ice rink will provide comfortable boots. Maybe no such thing exists. Either way, what are we if not hopeful beings, praying for a better future. I wish you good luck, J”

“Visited soft play on Wednesday and was disappointed to find the cafe shut as usual on a Wednesday even though it was fully booked and half term and the coffee machine was broken also. It was freezing in the soft play too, however the kids still had a great time and it's very reasonably priced.”

“Bit pricey and was very busy. Once paid took ages to queue for skates which was in your skating time. Would go on a quieter time and recommend booking not just turning up”

Overview
Telford Ice Rink & Soft Play runs public skating sessions alongside Tots on Ice, ice hockey, and lessons. Stability aids — penguin and polar bear frames — are available for beginners. The soft play area has separate zones by age. Staff are praised for professionalism and helpfulness. TLC card members pay significantly less. Rental skates are old-generation boots; bringing your own is worthwhile if you skate regularly.
