1 / 3The Pavilion by Mytime Active
📍 Bromley, Greater London
Multi-activity centre in Bromley with a leisure pool featuring a wave machine and gradual-depth entry, large Buzz Zone soft play with ball pit and slides, ten-pin bowling, gym, and an on-site café. Swimming lessons and birthday packages available.
I’ve been using the gym and pool facilities at The Pavilion for a while now, and I have to say — it’s an absolute gem, especially for the price. The gym is spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with everything from free weights to resistance machines and cardio equipment. The showers and changing facilities are always spotless, making post-workout refreshment super convenient. Special shout-out to the gym staff who are always friendly, supportive, and approachable. Whether you’re a regular or just getting started, they make you feel welcome and help you get the most out of your fitness journey. The pool is another huge highlight. Clean, well-maintained, and rarely overcrowded — it’s honestly a steal at this price point. Whether you’re doing laps or just looking to unwind, the atmosphere is always calm and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the experience at the bowling alley doesn’t match the standard of the rest of the facility. Booking a lane feels like you need to be a mind-reader or a magician, and the staff there could really use some basic training in customer service. We were rushed during our game — to the point where we weren’t even able to complete our turns properly, which was disappointing. If the bowling alley team could take a note from the gym and pool staff, The Pavilion would truly be a five-star facility across the board.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with young children who want pool and soft play in a single visit. The wave machine and gradual entry are particularly well suited to under-8s. Confirm the pool and any specific attractions are operational on the day — extended maintenance closures have disappointed families who travelled specifically for the flumes.

“Nice and large pool with gradual depth. Took my son here and he loved the wave feature. We've come back for a play session in the soft play area and may I day he loved it. The play area is large itself with plenty things for him to do. The staff have been lovely in the cafe area. Ive not tried the bowling area yet but it looks fun. I will be coming back to play again.”

“Visited for the spin class session late evening on weekdays. Easy sign board carpark on entrance. Nice lounge and clean area. Walked past the gym space and is organised and clutter free floor. Spin classes well equipped. Overall a good place for gym/spin.”

“We have been coming to the flumes for years and always looked forward to them, so we booked a swim during half term expecting the same experience. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed to find that the flumes have been removed, as this was one of the main attractions and a key reason for us travelling here. It would have been helpful if this change had been clearly communicated in advance, as it significantly affected our visit. That said, the pool itself was warm and the wave machine was still working, which helped and was enjoyed.”

Overview
The Pavilion combines a leisure pool with wave machine, the Buzz Zone soft play (ball pit, slides, climbing), and ten-pin bowling in one building adjacent to The Glades shopping centre. The pool uses a gradual-depth entry making it accessible for younger children. Swimming lessons run across age groups. The café and restaurant sit alongside the main floor. Facility closures for maintenance have affected flumes and pool access at times — check availability before travelling.
