All-weather theme park combining unlimited rides, an all-inclusive water park, Red Rooster Farm animal encounters, and extensive indoor soft play. Free parking and lodge accommodation available on-site.
What an amazing day!!!!!!! There was about seventeen of us today, and every single one of us (except maybe the 2 week old- but thatβs because sheβs 2 weeks old) has the GREATEST time. I had been to Wheelgate a few times before and absolutely LOVED it, so when my cousin invited me to its sister park with a free ticket (my cousins have an annual pass), I jumped at the chance! A lot of reviews say that the park is better suited to younger children. I do agree that this park is definitely very inclusive of kids under 8- there were so, so many rides that I could take my 4/6 year old cousins on, so they did not feel left out. But I will also argue that this park is also great for older kids- all the kids 8+ (including myself, a 17 year old, and all the adults too) also had an equally amazing time on the rides, on the park, seeing the animals and in the soft play areas!! My highlight was definitely the big soft play areas, which adults were allowed in (which I was happy about, as I could accompany the kids)- we were being very brave on the large drop slides, we had several goes on the drop tower, and it was such a large area that, even within an hour, we did not explore the entire thing!!! The staff were amazing too- very enthusiastic and happy to answer questions!! I was also happy that adults are classed as 16+ instead of 18+ - it makes my cousinβs life a lot easier, as often she may not want to go on the ride with the kids or is looking after another kid whilst the others want to go on, so I can help by going on the rides with the children. Thank you so much for an amazing day out!!! Will be back again very soon!
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children under 8 who want a manageable, low-queue theme park day with genuine indoor backup when weather turns. The ride variety suits ages 3β8 most naturally β children 9 and above may exhaust the options by midday. Mixed-age groups work well when younger children are the priority.

βA great theme park when you have kids that are a little too young for big rides. Even at peak times the queues are never very big (except log flume) and there are plenty of decent rides to keep everyone entertained- even the grown ups. Indoor areas with soft plays give a little shelter from any rain or if you just want a sit down for a bit. The highlight is the water park if you go at the right time of year. Itβs newish and shows theyβre investing in the park. The kids would probably be happy spending most of the day just in there. Expect theme park food prices but just take your own if that bothers you. Everyone had a great day and the variety of rides means you never get bored or run out things to do. Well worth a day trip, itβs clean, well maintained and has rides for all ages.β

βBrilliant family day out, something for everyone here. Enough rides to suit all ages and queues were fairly short. Indoor areas are great with plenty to keep children entertained, perhaps aimed at more younger children but the dark themed slides and play area is great for all along with the rapids ride. Classics like the pirate ship and log flume for all the family to enjoy. Easy to navigate around the park. Free parking available and gift shop at the end. Purchased a family photo which can be taken upon entrance. Highly recommend for families. Great value with family pass which we purchased via offer code at half price. Bargain! πβ

βWe are theme park connoisseurs and this park definitely is one of our top five parks in the uk. As we have kids under ten, this park has things to cater perfectly to them. It's a perfect size to be able to cram every ride in. The queues are small and the atmosphere is very nice. There's a large, soft play and separate aerial ropes. And drop slides. There's a farm on top to. Great visiting during halloween, as there is a pick your own.β

Overview
Twinlakes packs rides, a water park, Red Rooster Farm with animal interactions, and large indoor soft play areas under one gate price. The park sits four minutes from Melton Mowbray train station. Queue times are consistently short even at peak periods, with the log flume being the notable exception. Adults are classified as 16 and over rather than 18, making it easier for older siblings to accompany younger children on rides.
