1 / 2Vue Cinema Dagenham
π Dagenham, Greater London
Multi-screen cinema in a characterful art deco building with free parking, comfortable seating, and good ticket pricing. Staff are praised for attentive service. Cinema snacks are consistently flagged as very expensive.
Came to watch Avatar at Vue Dagenham and had a great experience overall. The venue was clean and not overcrowded. While lining up for snacks and drinks, we were assisted by Erica, who was outstanding. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely took the time to help us, making the experience feel personal rather than rushed. Her professionalism and positive attitude really stood out and set a great tone for our visit. The movie itself was fantastic, and the seats were very comfortable especially appreciated given the film was around three and a half hours long. The venue was also very clean when we were leaving. Would definitely return.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families wanting a well-priced, comfortable cinema outing without the crowds of larger multiplexes. The art deco setting and clean screens make it a pleasant choice for children of all ages. Budget separately for snacks β concession prices are consistently described as very high, and the McDonald's opposite is a practical alternative.

βReview of Vue Cinema (compared to Stratford location) We booked tickets to see Supermanβbrilliantly filmed, by the way. As for the venue, compared to the Stratford location I usually visit, this was like stepping back in timeβbut in a good way. The art deco style gave it a real sense of character and culture. It might not have the ultra-modern features of newer cinemas, but thereβs something charming and nostalgic about the atmosphere here. Bonus points for free parking π ΏοΈ, no queues when we arrived, and a McDonaldβs directly opposite for a quick bite before or after the film. All in all, a pleasantly surprising visit!β

βI was a bit unsure about this place after reading the reviews however was pleasantly surprised seeing it. I guess it depends which day and time one is visiting. Went there on a Tuesday afternoon and it was not busy at all, actually got the whole theatre to ourselves. Staff was polite, ambience was good, clean, toilets were clean as well. Screen was a tad bit smaller than other theatre but considering the ticket price it was great! Didnβt try their snacks so canβt comment!β

βWent along with the kids to watch the new Gabby's Doll house movie by 5pm. It weren't too busy on here especially it being the Half-term holidays. No long queues or waiting for us as we were among the first to arrive in time for our movie. Smallest sized popcorn with drinks ordered costs a around Β£35 for 3 persons together. All in all, kids had themselves a brilliant time and loved it here.β
