“Multi play zones/hubs 3 in all a classic park area with swings brilliant climbing structure (which parents will know their childs comfortable height to climb) best to work in twos one to guild and one to climb, I would personally advise support such as a buddy system for 8 plus & definite supervision for younger children on the climbing structure, as well as seesaw slide an inventive voice carry pipes where children can talk into a meter high surface/actually a pipe & children on the other side of the play area can hear and talk back its fun fun any age also a dedicated cricket area strip and a multi purpose game court and the fact those areas can be a good distance away from one another due to massive grass areas for picnics, exercise or simply sitting & enjoying the sun when its out. Lovely community play area with arrange of usage”

“Not a big park but a decent climbing web, swings for both older and you get children, spider web swing, gravity bowls, roundabout and usual little seats to bounce on. Equipments starting to look a little run down but is safe and useable. Grass areas are okay, quite a bit of rubbish around when I visited. Big football/basketball courts when is pleasant. Gets very very busy there.”

Overview
Ward End Play Park centres on a huge climbing dome flanked by three distinct play zones catering to different ages, a basketball court, and two AstroTurf football pitches. Free entry and pram access throughout. Voice-carry pipes add an interactive element between zones. Equipment shows some age in places and litter can accumulate, particularly during busy periods. The dome draws the most enthusiasm from reviewers.
