Really enjoyed this place. Haven't been for about 18 years since I was a child, but it still felt familiar even though there is so much new stuff. Took my son here and he absolutely loved it, he's 6 and it was his first time on any proper slides, majority of the slides were suitable for him even though they were still big and enjoyable for the adults. There are a few with ring slides, 2 of which you can go down on a double ring if the child is small enough. Theres also a great area with small slides for the younger children, with a brilliant lazy river and wave pool. Staff were polite and friendly.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children aged 4 and above who want a full day of water rides across a wide difficulty range. Term-time visits deliver shorter queues and a more relaxed pace. Mixed-age families benefit from the range of gentle and more thrilling slides operating on rotation throughout the day.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Visit during term-time for significantly shorter queues on all rides
Lockers require a deposit that is fully refunded on return
🎟️Slides operate on a rotation system — ask staff which are currently open on arrival
🚗Parking is available on site with charges applying

Had a really great day at WaterWorld. It was really clean and the staff were spot on. Special thank you to Callum on hot food for great customer service. Admittedly it’s term-term, so I imagine it’s a different story when it’s school holidays, but the longest queue we had today was 2 people! Loads of different slides and my 4 year old was even able to enjoy a lot of them, accompanied by an adult,

As someone who is getting over their fear of water this water park is a great place to start the process. Went on an off-peak day so water rides were switching rotation but that was no issue! £3 for parking for 3 hours, food is mostly affordable and no wait times to get in. Lockers are £5 each but you get that money back at the end. Loved the wave pool but not advised to go near the back for weak swimmers. Cyclone, storm chaser and nucleus are the best water rides to get used to water as it’s a rubber ring + goes into shallow water. Hurricane was a good waterslide but splashes a lot of water so be prepared for that. I did have a small panic attack getting off that waterslide, i did try to speak to one of the lifeguards about my panic attack but he wasn’t very polite, he said he doesn’t know what he’s meant to do. I didn’t expect him to do anything just ask if i was okay and give me advice. We did however speak to a senior member of staff and she was accommodating to my anxiety, also said she’d speak to the staff member. Overall a lovely experience, had no issues with anything apart from the staff member. The rest of the staff were so reassuring, explained how the slides work and informed of what to expect. i would definitely come back as it was great!

Great place for family day out. Swimming pool is a bit outdated but still beats others with slightly better theming. Don't look at rusty metal works and enjoy the waves and slides which are any age friendly, steps climb isn't too excessive and one doesn't have heart attack at middle age while climbing them, so one can still have fun in any age. They are trying stay on top of cleaning mess of pool and changing rooms. Again it does the job and it isn't too bad compared to some other pools. Restaurant offered quiet decent fried food with meal deals and share pallets, which was actually ok for fast food, but not too many healthy options, there was vegetarian Nd vegan option and beer for beer lovers. £5 refundable locker deposit, nice. £24 single entry and deal on family ticket or on dine or mini golf. Well it does come to a hundred at least for family of three with food but again kids have lots of fun. Viewing area for non paying customers isn't very comfortable or one can't see much unfortunately. Area is warm and one can sit and rest on chair and table. Website is very descriptive. Car park is about £6 if you stay 3 hours or more
