We just love coming to Wingham. I’ve been coming since I was a child and now I have my own it’s wonderful to see it still has its magic. The animals all seem very well looked after. We bought a membership and it is brilliant value for money and of all the local animal parks I would say it is the best for under 2s. We were lucky enough to see the new baby orangutan too! Whether you are local or just passing through - it makes for a brilliant day out!

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children of all ages, with particular value for families of under-2s through the free admission. The Tiger Experience is a standout treat for older children and makes an excellent birthday gift. Lorikeet feeding sells out early β€” visit that enclosure first.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Visit the Rainbow Lorikeet enclosure early β€” nectar runs out and the experience closes once it does
⏰Buy a membership if you plan to visit more than once β€” reviewers consistently call it the best value option
🎟️The Tiger Experience makes an excellent birthday treat for older children β€” book well in advance
πŸš—Wheelchair accessible throughout with benches and seating at regular intervals

β€œHad the pleasure and honour of visiting Wingham Wildlife Park twice with a friend. 😍 Once when busy. Once when quieter. Loved it BOTH times! πŸ’ž Reasonable entry price. Really helpful, friendly and professional staff. Wheelchair accessible. Seats & benches all over. Handy when I have a bad knee & chronic PSOAS pain. πŸ₯Ή Great choice of animals to see at close proximity. Great food and you can also take your own. It's so easy to tell when a venue is there to make the public smile OR to fleece you. And Wingham is kind and honourable to the core, which shows in the layout of the park, the staff etc etc and their Google reviews. 11/10. The PERFECT experience. Love you Wingham!! 😍 ThanQ.”

β€œWe had a lovely day for my birthday (7th March) with family. I just love this wildlife park and so do my grandchildren aged 6 and 9. Its so easy to navigate around and so many animals to see. The icing on the cake was the Tiger Experience bought for my birthday! Gary the keeper was friendly and full of great information about all the big cats. Troy the tiger was fabulous. We fed him, got really up close. He treated us to some 'choughing' and was so gentle. He obviously loves Gary. The Rainbow Lorikeets are beautiful. Buy little pots of nectar and they land on you to feed. Go early during your visit to make sure there is nectar available. I would highly recommend a visit.”
