1 / 3Auriol Park Playground
đ Epsom, Greater London
Well-maintained community park in Epsom with a compact playground, covered basketball courts, open tennis tables, and outdoor gym equipment. Sunday community football sessions run regularly. No toilet facilities on site.
We weed and plant bulbs every year, fix graffiti and litter mess and generally take care of this brilliant resource. A massive plus for our community!
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for active families with older children and teenagers who want sports facilities rather than a playground-focused visit. The compact playground suits a short stop for younger kids â around 30 minutes â before older children take over the courts. Visit on a Sunday for the community football atmosphere.

âThis place provides a spacious area perfect for walking your dog, ensuring both you and your pet can enjoy ample room to roam. For families with children, there's a small but well-maintained playground where kids can have fun and stay active. Although the skate park is somewhat limited, featuring only a skating bowl, it's still a popular spot for skateboarding enthusiasts. Fitness lovers will appreciate the outdoor gym, which is equipped with various workout stations to keep you in shape. Every Sunday, the atmosphere becomes lively as children gather to play football, adding to the community spirit of the area.â

âI always prefer to have a short visit. At least once a week to make refreshment for my mind... It used to be filled with people, especially school students who practice different outdoor activities, and it makes the heart feel calm and relaxed by ignoring all other inner stress.... It always feels wonderful to have a short walk, even on my way back home!!! And finally, they are open after a long wait...â

âThis is our primary place of recreation during the summers. The place is well maintained (except the loose net on one of the nets in the picture)! The court surfaces are largely free of cracks or holes and the markings are clear. There are open TT tables, big playground and covered basketball courts around these courts.â
