Shadbolt Park Playground
📍 Worcester Park, Greater London
Shadbolt Park features a fenced toddler playground with low slides, baby swings, and climbing frames scaled for under-5s. The adjacent arboretum has meandering paths, a fenced pond, and an outdoor gym for adults.
Plenty of green space for children and adults. It also has an outdoor gym area.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
A strong choice for families with babies and toddlers up to roughly five years old. The equipment is correctly scaled for that age group, the setting is leafy and relaxed, and the community events calendar gives regular reasons to return. Walk from the high street rather than driving — there is no parking at the park.

“18th June 22. There was a fête here today. Was really great to see so many people here. Dog show was amazing to see how many dogs were in each category.”

“The park is an easy destination for dog walking and recreation. A smaller open area with excellent isometric exercise equipment, and a children's fenced area with swings and climbing frame. Adjacent is an bigger arboretum with meandering walkways and a securely fenced small pond. A doctor's surgery occupies one corner. Annual fairs and community shows.”

“I love this little park! It’s nice and leafy, surrounded by some lovely houses and best of all my one year old can actually climb up the steps to the slide and slide down as it’s low enough. There’s a swing for babies and a few bits for older kids too so great mix. There’s no parking here though which is a shame but the walk from the High street isn’t too long- my coffee was still hot by the time I got there. If you walk towards the dr surgery it’s nice and leafy and has some gorgeous orange leaf trees (posted in late autumn)”
