I want to give more than 5 stars. This is some place. Where kids explore and get dirty and can entertain themselves on things they find. They climb, and run, and swing, and build. Did the dirt break my washing machine? âī¸ Did I almost have to take my son to A&E? âī¸ (but Robert as the first aider was right over and sorted him out!) Did the boys just have an absolute ball? âī¸ (aged 1, 4, 6, 7, 10 & 11). Did I suggest they roll each other down a hill in a giant pipe? âī¸đŗ Would we go back again? âī¸âī¸âī¸ Check it out. I can't recommend it highly enough. Great staff, great play. Whole day spent enjoying!!!! FYI - adults have to book - go to website, lunch is provided for free so if you can, please make a donation via the website too. Parking is on street and is also free. It's perfect. Kids will need a hose down and you'll need a boil wash!!!!!
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families who want their children to experience unstructured, messy outdoor play in an environment built for it. Suits toddlers through to tweens â the range of equipment and animals means all ages find something engaging.

âFabulous place to go for children of all ages. They can explore and play using their own imagination. Learning to take risks and learn from their own play. Staff very welcoming and always willing to speak to anyone. Having the opportunity to see and pet the rabbits and hamsters. See the ducks and hens walking around the environment. Fun place to meet and talk with parents.â

âA wonderful community project and play space. Went with my wee one today - staff were incredibly welcoming, showed us around and invited us for food when it was ready. (A range of options for all diets for lunch and fruit when you wanted it.) Kids loved the rabbits and chickens and climbing, splashing and mucking about. Worth a visit, bring a change of clothes!â

âSuch an amazing place for young children to come play, interact with their peers and learn some fun facts about the animals. Children were also allowed to pet the animals as well as, play freely and enjoy the outdoor play area. Free entrance but had to book the tickets in advance (on Eventbrite) as it can get quite busy at times.â
