Bluewater Ice Skating Rink

“Well I had never tried ice skating before and my daughter wanted to go on and she had done it before. Although I did nearly go over twice when I first stepped on I managed the whole session without a fall and did actually begin to grasp the concept of skating as a very quick Google and YouTube search gave me some ultra quick tips 😂.... Hardly see my daughter as she just left me soon as she got going, yeah thanks for that🤷🏻‍♂️🤣. Whole place is set out really well with lights and music and atmosphere. I know nothing about ice rinks but it seems they re skim the surface between each session presumably for a good skating surface each time. There is plenty of seating and places to watch friends or family skating and of course drinks available too. It's definitely family friendly so take the young kids on as there are skating aids available. You get 45 minutes on the ice and if you keep at it you eventually do kinda get it. The more times you go you will definitely pick it up, you probably won't be the next Torvill and Dean though 😂”

“Two years in a row now to meet friends for Christmas Kids love the skating and falling over. I love the coffee (the deluxe hot chocolate is incredible too) and sitting watching them wobble round like Bambi. Will go again next year too unless its not there”

“We go ice skating ⛸️ every Christmas time, we enjoy it as a family. It’s good value for money if you do the 2-4-1 session, they also play Christmas music 🎶 to get you into the festive spirit, there is a stall nearby for a hot drink if needed and also once you finish your 45 min session on the ice there is also a Christmas 🎄 fairground if you fancy a ride on the ferris wheel 🎡 would recommend as kids and adults would enjoy!😊”

“Great place for ice skating with friends or family. The rink is well maintained and the ice quality feels smooth and safe. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially for beginners. Good atmosphere and enjoyable experience overall. I would happily come back again.”
