A brand new arcade has opened recently in Bluewater @gravityarcadeuk & we had a brilliant time! We love arcades (who doesn’t)? The Arcade has two floors of games: A range of Racing games, Giant Hungry Hippo, Jurassic Park, Bop it, Football, Shooting games, Air Hockey and so much more! I love the fact that this arcade is contactless. Preload a card and you’re good to go. At the end, head over to the vending machine to swap your tickets for prizes, no more faffing around with paper tickets! Games start at 10 credits only (equivalent to £1).

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for school-age children and teens who enjoy arcade variety — the racing simulators are a standout and keep going if you win, extending play time. Families with pushchairs should confirm the lift is working on arrival. Claw machines follow standard arcade odds so skip them if budget is tight.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Top up at the kiosk before heading to the games floor — contactless only, no cash
Win the racing game to continue without extra credits
🎟️Ask staff to confirm lift availability if you have a pushchair
🚗Redemption tickets convert to prizes via the online store, not a physical counter

I'm 32 and a father of 2 kids under 2 and loved the racing game! I'm not shy to admit, I sat on the racing seat with my 2 year old crying as he was scared but I'm sorry but I was loving the racing simulator moving around and the boost lever that blows air in your face! Tip, if you win the race you keep going..!

We visited as a family and my kids really enjoyed it here, we chose £20 for 250 credits and each game varies between 9 and 16 credits, we only noticed 1 machine that was out of order which was the hungry hippo game. We never bothered with the claw games because like every arcade, they never grab on. There are some really good racing games. Yes the prizes are basic but you're paying for entertainment and they're no different to any other arcade with ticket prizes. The biggest credit goes to Felix this member of staff was so friendly, helpful and attentive, he helped me carry our sons stroller upstairs and downstairs cause the lift wasn't working and told us if you need to come up or down please let me know and I'll help.

Visited Gravity Arcade at Bluewater and had a decent time overall. The space is clean, modern, and fun, with a good vibe that’s great for kids and teens. They use a top-up game card system, which is easy to use, but the pricing of the games feels a bit random. Some games cost a lot more than others with no clear reason, and it seems like a tactic to encourage you to keep topping up — which can add up quickly. The selection of games is quite small, so it’s not somewhere you’d spend hours in unless you’re happy to repeat games. That said, if you go in with around £50 to spend, you’ll have a good time without too much pressure. Worth a visit if you’re in the area and looking for a short, fun stop — just be mindful of the top-up costs.

Overview

Gravity Arcade Bluewater uses a contactless card top-up system across two floors of games — racing simulators with motion seats and air blast, Giant Hungry Hippo, Jurassic Park, air hockey, shooting games, and redemption machines that convert virtual tickets into prizes via an Amazon-linked store. The 250-credit card at the entry-level price point covers a decent run of games at 9–16 credits each.
