đ London, Greater London
75-minute group gaming experience in London where teams of 2-16 race through six rooms including laser mazes, target shooting, and lava platforms, ending with the Solara paint explosion finale. Suitable for ages 12+.
We visited Boom Lab London as a family, looking for an activity that would keep everyone engaged, and it delivered from the moment we arrived. Tucked away in the city, it feels purpose-built for groups who want to do more than just watch or wander. This immersive group gaming experience in London is all about getting involved together. Inside, the atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming. The lighting is bold, the rooms are spacious, and the sound design keeps the energy high. Each area feels well thought out, with enough space to move freely and enough structure to keep things flowing smoothly. It felt exciting but still comfortable for all ages. The games are the heart of the experience, and each one brings something different. We started with Blue Blur, which tests speed and coordination. Pink Panic quickly followed, adding pressure and plenty of laughter. Red Reflex was all about reaction time, while Yellow Yell had us communicating loudly and working together. Orange Outrun raised the pace again, pushing us to move fast as a team. The final challenge, Solara, was the highlight. A full paint explosion that felt like a proper finale and left everyone smiling. JJ & Rafid were friendly, clear with instructions, and happy to help when needed. Wait times were minimal, the briefing was easy to follow, and everything felt organised. It is a great option if you are looking for a family-friendly group activity in London that runs smoothly. This is ideal for families with older children, birthday groups, or friends looking for something active. It works especially well on weekends or during school holidays. We would happily go back, and it is an easy recommendation if you want an immersive gaming experience in London that everyone can enjoy.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with older children and teens aged 12+ who enjoy active, competitive team challenges. The six-room progression builds in intensity toward the paint finale, which is the standout moment for most groups. The chaos room and laser maze receive the strongest individual praise. Teams of four to eight work well in the space.

âBooked for our friendsmas, saw advertisement on social and thought we'd give it ago. Was great fun especially the chaos and laser room. The 5th room (kboom) could have been more fun was pretty boring considering how its advertised. Don't get that messy, definitely would enjoyed more paint spraying interaction.â

Overview
Boom Lab London runs teams of 2-16 through six sequential rooms combining physical and logical challenges: laser mazes, high-tech whack-a-mole, target shooting, and lava platform jumping. The 75-minute experience culminates in the Solara room where participants trigger a paint explosion. Birthday party packages are available. One reviewer reported arriving to find the venue locked with no accessible contact method â this is worth verifying before travel.
