1 / 2Curzon Hoxton
π London, Greater London
Curzon Hoxton is a modern cinema in Shoreditch with reclining seats, seat-side tables, and pram access. Films run without intervals. Hot food is served during screenings. Temperature control has been reported as inconsistent.
Great new cinema thatβs opened in Shoreditch. I visited on the opening weekend to see A Quiet Place Part 2. The staff are very courteous and helpful, sorting out some membership issues. Following on from a theatre I think, the interior design is modern and chic, and the seats (in Screen 1 particularly) can lean back, with plenty of room. Iβm very glad this is my new local!
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with older children who can manage a full film without an interval and are comfortable in a venue where food service continues during the screening. The modern seating and intimate screen size suit focused film-watching.

βGreat cinema, very nice interior design and I think every cinema should have small tables next to your seat. Two downsides - people eating hot food during the movie, so the whole room smells of whatever it is they are having. And food/drinks service didnβt stop once the movie started, which can be annoying, as you get distracted from the screen.β

βSmall but cute. Movie has started nearly after 30 minutes. There is no break for film. ( Do not forget to go loo before it)β

βNice cinemas, none of the screens too tiny, but the bars/lobbies on both floors always stink of fried cooking oil. Fortunately it isn't noticeable inside the screens, but it really puts me off of using this branch - I pretty much only come here if the showing at Curzon Bloomsbury is full.β
