This is an amazing place, we have been going here for around 15 year, my children started swimming here from the age of 4, and now my son aged 14 goes to the gym here with me, the staff are very friendly and make you feel like family rather than just a customer, would highly recommend joining to anyone looking for a gym, classes, or swimming lessons/sessions
π Family Action Verdict
Best suited for families seeking long-term swimming development in a distinctive historic setting β multiple reviewers mention children progressing here over years. The venue genuinely creates a community feel.

βWhat an absolutely gorgeous, clean swimming pool, complete with beautiful architecture it has been lovingly and sensitively renovated into the best possible blend of a modern and vintage leisure facility under one roof. It offers a brilliant range of events, catering to all. The staff are incredible; cheerful, friendly, welcoming and efficient. What a gem!β

βI regularly attend the ladies swim and I feel comfortable that we have female staff. The only downside is, sometimes the males - from the previous session - stay for some time in the pool during the "ladies only" swim. The water feels cooler than some of the other pools I've been to, and sometimes the bottom of the pool looks unclean. I have seen mildew on the old side stones many a time. Unfortunately there is only 1 private shower on the ladies side, which is a shame, since the pool capacity is quite large. Having more showers to wash ourselves would be helpful for people like me - I suffer with a skin condition and chlorine when left on my skin for too long, makes the condition worse. There are more showers but those are not private. Aside from the above, I find the staff polite and helpful. There is also a small cafe area to unwind after an intense swim. The pool is set off a main road with ample on street parking, making it easy to find. Overall good. Areas of improvement notedβ

Overview
Bramley Baths is the last surviving historic bath house in Leeds, sensitively renovated to combine Edwardian architecture with modern leisure facilities. Swimming lessons run for babies through to adults. Family fun swim sessions, fitness classes, and unique floating soundbath experiences are part of the regular programme. Changing rooms, free parking, and pram access are provided. A 2025 review documents a serious coaching conduct incident during a school session.
