We had an event last night at the Art Museum which was a triumph. The staff went over and above to make it a success. We are so fortunate to have such a beautiful building filled with great exhibitions. It has a warm atmosphere and a real community feel. I can highly recommend it for your next event. Steve Walton was so helpful. Thanks to the whole team.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

A genuinely worthwhile free cultural visit for families with children old enough to engage with art and local history — roughly six and above. The beautiful building itself is a talking point. Combining a visit with the Fusiliers Museum opposite makes for a full half-day out in Bury town centre without any entry cost.
