Very good pair of adventure golf courses near Bristol . I only played the new course because of the rain . I noticed lots of puddles on the Kong course , so will have to come back and play both , the next time I'm in the area . The new course is themed on world landmarks . The theming is old school , but done on an impressive scale . However it is the playing surface and creative layout where the course really impresses . The holes are long and smoothly contoured , mimicking natural golf greens . You can tell that it has been designed by a golf centre , this course is a small part of a much bigger golfing complex . I especially liked the contouring , to keep the ball away from the edges and also in bounds . The layout has some interesting challenges , and also risk and reward options , it even has different height levels as well . All the holes are accessible by wide pathways , with the exception of the volcano island , where you need to haul yourself across on a raft . Very good course ( maybe the best ) , even if it was raining . There is plenty of free carparking , food options and other golfing facilities .

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with mobile children aged 6 and above who enjoy a challenge — both courses are elaborate and take genuine concentration. The Around the World course is currently the more reliable option as Kong periodically closes for upgrades. Check conditions before visiting as wet weather creates mud and occasional course closures.

Great courses, we did Around The World as Kong closed due to having upgrades. Took us almost two hours to get through the course, and we enjoyed it very much! Stopped off at the café to get a drink, and they also offer gluten free toasties! Can recommend x

Found this little slice of fun and absolutely loved it. The golf courses are a blast and the cafe is the perfect place to relax afterward. There's such a great energy here; it's a must-visit for anyone looking for a fun day out!

We played Around the World. The theming was brilliant. Lost a star for the actual holes - the plastic edge of the cup inside the holes was raised in many and the ball kept bouncing off and rolling away. Also the flags look great but they’re super annoying!
