Lovely place to take a walk around, can either go with friends or family or take the dog for a nice walk. You can also cut through the field which has been nicely mowed. You can here the birds chirping away and on a good day you might see some horses. They are very friendly and love a good petting. They also have a path which you can follow if you don't feel like crossing the field. The path leads you around in the full circle. Its very lovely once the flowers start to come out.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families who enjoy unhurried nature walks, wildlife spotting, and connecting with a community green space rather than structured play. Children who respond to open exploration — looking for birds, spotting deer, or visiting allotment holders — will get the most from a visit.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Visit in late spring and early summer when wildflowers are at their peak
Morning visits give the best chance of spotting deer on the meadow paths
🎟️Bring a dog lead — the site is open and horses are nearby and some areas are unfenced
🚗Follow the circular path for a fuller tour rather than cutting straight across the mowed field

Everything was delivered in the way it should be, the process was simple and efficient, and I didn’t face any unnecessary difficulties.

Love it here. We have an allotment plot. We're new to this and everybody there has been wonderful. It's a real community spirit here.
