Small playground but nice selection of equipment for very little ones (1 - 3 year olds) Huge open space outside of playground with various other climbing equipment dotted about and a sandpit with 2 diggers. All very well kept.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with toddlers and early primary-school children who need a safe, supervised play space without the scale of a large park. The sightlines are excellent for lone parents managing multiple children. Older siblings will find the outside climbing equipment and open grass more engaging than the main playground.

â„šī¸ What to Know Before You Go

💡Designed for ages 1–5 — older children will prefer the outside climbing equipment and open grass
⏰Sight lines are clear from every bench; one adult can cover the whole playground easily
đŸŽŸī¸Burton Road shops are five minutes away for snacks and supplies
🚗Bins fill quickly on busy days — consider taking rubbish home

“Fairly small but nice park in the middle of West Didsbury. Features a small playground, plus a sandpit and some climbing stuff for older kids. Lots of open grassy area to sit on when it's nice, and a number of benches plus picnic tables around the edge too. Only issue is just a couple of bins, which means in very nice weather they can get a bit overfull with lots of people in the park, probably exacerbated by lock down though.”

“Great little play area with swings (one for babies) and a little wooden train climbing frame, amongst other pieces of equipment. 5 mins walk from Burton Road shops. Good for younger primary aged children”
