We visited yesterday. Only 10 min walk from our home. The reason why I didn't visit this place earlier is because I saw a while ago in the reviews that there was no lift. So, if you have twins and you are the only adult coming you may struggle as there is no lift and double pram won't pass through the main entrance door. The place is huge. Staff are very friendly. Lots of toys for the kids. Slides for under 3 and slides for children >3 yo. Parents can relax while watching their kids. Our boys loved. We will definitely come back.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with toddlers and children up to age 12 visiting on weekdays, when the venue is quieter and young children can access everything without crowds. The under-5s area is spacious and well-equipped. The stair-only access is a genuine constraint — double prams cannot fit through the entrance, and there is no lift.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Weekday visits are significantly quieter — young children can move freely without being overwhelmed
No lift is available — stairs only to the main play area, and double prams cannot fit through the entrance
🎟️Book online to save on per-child admission versus walk-in pricing
🚗The warehouse can be cold — bring layers for crawlers, especially in cooler months

Lovely play with my 10 month old, lots of space and toys appropriate for babies. Great food and service. It was cold as it’s an old warehouse, especially for crawlers on the sensory room floor. Some of the toys and balls in the ball pit were dirty. Nice areas such as library and shop etc, although the “shop” is full of empty recycling containers and boxes, would be nice to see how older children use this space. There was loose wires dangling near light tube in sensory room and plug sockets exposed, could be blocked off to stop toddlers grabbing them, maybe a small toy unit would be helpful. That being said there is a sign for the sensory room that reads children require adult supervision at all times, which isn’t great for the children who have already entered without an adult! I will return due to my baby enjoying her time and it’s an ideal place to meet up with other mums. Could do with TLC & a deep clean!

We love Charlie park!! My niece is 18 months old and it is just perfect for her! We always go during the week because it isn’t too busy and she can play on everything without getting trampled on! Lots of toys and activities! She loves going on the dance floor! Food is good and well priced! We love it here!

It is a great place for young children to burn off energy in a safe and well-maintained environment. The staff are welcoming and attentive, and the café area is comfortable with a good selection of food, drinks and snacks. My son really enjoys his visits here and always has lots of fun.
