1 / 2Crumpsall Park
π Crumpsall, North West
Free local park in Crumpsall with play equipment including swings, slides, and puzzles, plus a dedicated enclosed dog area separated from the play zones. Wheelchair-accessible paths and plenty of seating. Seasonal flowers in spring.
really nice park to wonder round or bring the kids for a quick play about with a dedicated dog walkers enclosure providing separation from the other park users. So, no need to worry about letting your dog off the lead. Wide open spaces with wheelchair adequate pathways and plenty of benches for you to sit and eat your lunch. Not sure how well lit it is at night time but it seems a very safe area.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for local families with toddlers and young children looking for a clean, safe playground for a regular short visit. The enclosed dog area is a practical feature for families with pets. The park is genuinely well-kept and calm, praised by reviewers across multiple years.

βPeaceful park , beautiful, clean and well maintained. Recovering from illness#, and nice to he on s well kept, clean park. Ethnic diversity beautiful to witness from young and old. Area for dogs to roam with owners, and also nice to see responsible dog owners with dogs on leads. Daffodils, snow drops and mixed crocuses in full colourful bloom and beautiful.β

βThe place is wonderfulβhonestly, one of the best playgrounds around. However, people should be more mindful of cleanliness; parents often overlook it when their kids drop crisps or wrappers on the ground.β

Overview
Crumpsall Park features a playground with swings, slides, and puzzle equipment in a well-maintained setting with pram-friendly paths and free entry. A dedicated enclosed dog area allows off-lead exercise safely away from the children's play zone. Wheelchair-accessible paths and benches throughout. Seasonal planting includes daffodils and snowdrops in spring. The park is compact β better suited to quick local visits than a major family day out.
