1 / 2Dulwich Leisure Centre
π London, Greater London
25m pool running public swims, lane swimming, and lessons from 5 months through adult levels. On-site gym with TechnoGym equipment and three fitness studios. Cafe on site. Free entry available.
The place is very good, the facilities in the swimming pool have improved from being quite good already. Memberships and courses organisation is chaotic, different members of the. staff give different pieces of advice and some of them very nice and helpful others very condescending.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families prioritising breadth of swimming lesson provision, from baby classes upward. The lesson programme and pool itself are solid. The gym and membership administration have serious problems since the management change: price increases without notice, overcrowding, and broken equipment throughout.

βOverpriced since Southwark took over. Opening times arenβt great and equipment upgraded doesnβt justify the hike Iβm afraid.β

βExpensive for what it is. I joined at around Β£30 pm and now, 6 ish months later, itβs Β£43.99! For Β£43.99 you get an over crowded gym, 3 cable machine to share, no floor space for smaller weights, stinky changing rooms, dirty equipment & training floor with minimal antibacterial spray and tissue paper available to wipe down equipment, horribly loud music and no air conditioning. The swimming pool seems to always be closed and Iβve never seen the cafe open which is annoying when you forget your water bottle and no paper cups are provided for the water fountain. Staff have been friendly however one time my direct debit bounced and they asked me to pay the Β£30 joining fee again! - i received no emails letting me know prior this was an issue.β

β2 hours before closing the cleaners are mopping everywhere leaving all floors very wet & slippery. Even though i'm training on a mat they tell me to move so they can mop underneath! They hung the mats over several of the equipment making it impossible to use things. I'M PAYING Β£60 A MONTH FOR THIS JOKEβ

Overview
Dulwich Leisure Centre runs a 25m pool with dedicated sessions for under-fives, over-60s, men-only, and women-only alongside standard lane and public swims. Swimming lessons span from 5-month baby classes through adult. Gym holds TechnoGym equipment across a spacious floor. Three fitness studios run over 100 weekly classes. Pool maintenance is an ongoing issue β closures happen frequently and without consistent advance notice.
