1 / 2Dymchurch Amusement Park
π Romney Marsh, Greater London
Traditional pay-per-ride amusement park next to Dymchurch beach, featuring dodgems, teacups, wave swinger, caterpillar ride, and a funhouse. Free to enter with tokens for rides and arcades.
Lovely fun fair right next to the beach. Toilets, food, arcades, rides, candy floss etc. I would say most rides aimed for ages 12 and under, adults are allowed on but this is not Alton towers so don't expect white knuckle rides!! Dymchurch itself is a lovely seaside village with plenty of lovely independent shops, cafes, food outlets etc. Lovely beach tooπ
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children under 12 who want a traditional British seaside funfair without the scale or cost of a major theme park. The beach behind the park extends the day naturally β bring buckets and spades. Thrill-seeking older children or teenagers will find the ride selection modest, so set expectations accordingly before arrival.

βHave been many times with our small children over the past few years. The arcades are spacious and a blast from the past. It can be very busy during peak season so we tend to come earlier to avoid crowds. Classic sweets and snacks available.β

βI love Dymchurch, its not over crowded and not overly expensive. The amusements were reasonably priced. The rides were perfect for the little ones. Its not huge, but enough to entertain for a short while. The sandy beach is located right behind it.β

βA small, clean, safe amusement park Probably suited for children under 10, but worth a visit. The tokens were good value for money. All the staff were safety conscious, friendly and polite Toilets on siteβ

Overview
The park sits directly behind Dymchurch beach, making it easy to combine rides with sand and sea in one outing. Classic rides are geared toward children under 12 β adults can join and the focus is younger riders. Arcade machines, candy floss and doughnut stalls, and nearby fish and chip shops round out the seaside experience. The site is compact, clean, and pram-friendly throughout. Arrive early in peak season to avoid the longest queues at popular rides.
