Although I have a business nearby and more affordable gym options closer to my office, I have chosen to re-join your facility because of the outstanding staff. Specifically, I want to highlight Sang. Despite having completed my Level 3 PT course at NLC, I can confidently say that Sang’s expertise exceeds anyone I have encountered in the fitness industry. Following my spinal surgeries, I was unsure how to train again. Sang’s guidance and inspiration helped me regain my confidence and get back on track. He is truly an asset to your team and motivated me to my PT course. I also want to mention the warm welcome I received today from Matt and Julian, who made me feel like family. I am certain Sean would have shared that same enthusiasm had he been in. These individuals are more than just staff; they build meaningful, lifelong connections with members. “The womens gym is not being cleaned overnight, on two occasions both bins had not been emptied, cobwebs that existed before the upgrade are still there in the ceiling. Also twice daily is needed at least, Cleaning is hygiene and so very important to prevent germs and bacteria spreading among users, especially as some ladies do not use the hygiene wipes! Cables need to be tied up and secured to prevent a health and safety risk.! There is no hanging area for coats/jackets, this needs to be resolved to prevent health and safety issues. The mirror should ideally be from the floor to at least 7ft. The cable machine was removed, which is a valuable asset, as it offers multiple exercise options and takes up less space than it's counterparts.”

“Was really excited about the update to the women’s section but ended up very disappointed. The changes don’t feel thoughtfully planned. Machines have been placed directly in front of the area where bags and coats were previously kept, yet no alternative storage or hangers have been provided, which makes the space feel awkward and inconvenient. The number of treadmills has been reduced from five to two, even though they are extremely popular, especially during peak hours. This makes it much harder to follow a routine. The cable machine has also been removed, which reduced both exercise variety and removed a useful hanging/support option. In addition, there are now no benches in the women’s section, meaning exercises like hip thrusts are no longer possible. Overall, what was meant to be an upgrade unfortunately feels like a downgrade for those who regularly used the women’s section. The previous layout felt more practical and user-focused. I hope feedback from regular users of the women’s section is taken into account, as the current setup makes it difficult to maintain a consistent and effective routine.☹️☹️☹️”

“After coming here most days for 7 years I'm sadly now looking for a different gym and strongly recommend that people do not come here. It's bad enough that there's no air con in the group exercise studio so it's dangerously hot in the summer but now they've just told all the fitness instructors they can't play their own music anymore and have to use shit quality royalty free techno noise to save the centre money. It's completely killed the vibe. They didn't consult the customers about this and didn't listen when all complained. Don't come here.”
