Large playground with plenty of equipment! There are about 4-5 different sections of playground equipment here. One section has sand, which has diggers and buckets. There was a reasonable amount of benches and some shade. My son loved the zip line! They have a small shop that sells snacks and ice cream as well. There are no bathrooms inside the play area, but just outside the gate there is a well maintained public toilet. This play park is at the south eastern most corner of the Meadows; closest bus stop is Buccleuch Terrace.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for active families with children of mixed ages who want variety across a single visit — younger children gravitate to the sand digger section, older ones to the zip line and climbing structures. The open Meadows setting makes it equally appealing for parents who want to sit out on the grass.

â„šī¸ What to Know Before You Go
