π Family Action Verdict
Best for families visiting central Edinburgh with mixed-age children who need a free, reliable outdoor stop. The separate toddler and older-kids zones mean different ages can play simultaneously without conflict. Not the largest playground in Scotland, so families seeking elaborate equipment may want to combine it with other nearby parks.

βPlayground for kids has an area for the smallest ones: a slide, swings, small ship and area for the older ones with climbing facilities, small tunnel, ropes and bigger slide and swings. Nothing too special although most of that you need you can find here. Size of playground is not too big, just average size. It's nice to spend time here with children.β
