1 / 3Flett Theatre, Natural History Museum
π Kensington, Greater London
Free-entry natural history museum in Kensington packed with interactive exhibits and educational displays spanning ancient history and natural science. A full day is needed to cover the main sections.
Fantastic free museum that does ask for donations and can be a little pushy with the amount of paid devices you need to walk past but overall it's a brilliant place to visit and you could spend the whole day checking all the sections out if you wish.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with school-age children who want a substantive educational day out without an admission cost. The interactive features hold children's attention well and the scale of the collection rewards repeat visits over separate trips.

Overview
The Natural History Museum in Kensington houses extensive interactive displays across natural sciences and ancient history in a grand Victorian interior. The Flett Theatre hosts talks and presentations as part of the wider museum programme. Entry is free. The building is pram-friendly throughout. Multiple paid devices and donation requests are positioned across the visitor route. Toilet locations are not always clearly signposted within the large floorplan.
