1 / 3Flip Out Lakeside
📍 West Thurrock, Greater London
Large trampoline park with 14 attractions including trampolines, laser quest, ninja wipeout course, traverse wall, soft play, and karaoke. Mini Flipper sessions for ages 18 months–4 years. Birthday party packages available.
Fun for kids and not only, but the level of cleanliness and the way it looks like overall...really bad. You need to reassess this matter, especially you have so many visitors of all ages. For a big, good Mall like Lakeside, Flip Out is downgrading the image. And I have only few pictures to share.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with energetic children aged 5–12 who prioritise the trampolines and laser quest above facility condition. The variety of attractions keeps different ages occupied simultaneously. Early bird pricing represents significantly better value than standard sessions. Food and drinks are expensive — bring your own where the venue allows.

“A good place to wear the kids out but very expensive for the time you get plus slush puppy style drink alone is £7. Many of the chairs were broken too which was an issue and lots of plugs and wires exposed right next to the tables which any young toddler could grab hold of. Also felt sorry for the staff. Only one staff member and she was backwards and forwards trying to monitor laser tag, trampolines and the cafe. Not fair on her and not safe for visitors.”

“Not a bad place, just needs a lot of work. I got the early bird tickets for £12 per person which is very cheap in this economy, so definitely try to get the early bird tickets if you can! The main trampolines are quite hard and the larger trampolines are far too soft, you can hardly jump on them. The Olympic style trampolines in the stunt zone are quite bouncy and fun. The ninja course was awful, I wouldn’t bother with the ninja bands because half of the scanners are broken anyway. The wall which you run up and hit the top was not in use and the basketball and “dodge ball” areas were open but the mechanisms were not on/working. Marshals were more interested in their phones than the safety of jumpers, although I did hear the manager radio to ask them to stop sitting down. The laser quest was great fun, we had it to ourselves which was nice once we discovered there is an upstairs 😂. Although we arrived at 11am which was our time slot and the website advertised 20 minutes including the briefing, which should have meant we finished at 11:20am. We had booked bowling for 11:40am so this was a perfect time for us to finish. Unfortunately, due to other customers being late, the session was not started until around 20 past, which meant we were then late for bowling. The staff member at laser quest was lovely and whilst I understand it is not your fault if customers are late, however I don’t believe that other customers should be made to wait. Also, I paid almost £10 for two bottled drinks and two packs of crisps. Again I understand that as a business you need to sell food at a higher price than what you are paying for it, but at other venues such as SOAR trampoline park, you can buy two large slushies and two packs of crisps for the same price. I didn’t even look at the price of a slush at flip out but I dread to think about it.”

“First and last visit here sadly. When we lived down on the south coast we used to go to the flip out in Chichester and always enjoyed it. I booked a mini flipper session, and whilst I appreciate health and safety rules, I kept being told only 1 person per trampoline whilst lightly jumping with a 3 year old. Other old children were constantly just running over trampolines he was on making him fall, hence him wanting his mum to jump with him. The facilities are tired - saw lots of things that were damaged and broken, some attempts not even made to tape up. The costs are misleading too because they enforce you to wear their own branded socks, so why not just add it to the ticket price. Maybe they know customer may reconsider other options? A locker cost £2.60 when an alternative inflatable company we visit just allows you to use a £1 which is returned. Mark up in food and drinks are high. So, when a small child tells you they’d rather not go there again, you know it’s been a crap experience!”
