1 / 2Foal Farm Animal Rescue Centre
đ Biggin Hill, Greater London
Charity-run animal rescue centre rescuing and rehoming cats, dogs, horses, goats, pigs, rabbits, and hens for over 60 years. On-site charity shop and tearoom. Animals viewable in outdoor enclosures.
Foal Farm is a wonderful rescue centre, you can tell they really care about the animals and when we came to them last year looking to adopt a dog they took a lot of time to make sure we would be the perfect fit for each other. We left with George and he is absolutely wonderful, we're so lucky to have him. He loves his ball throwing and he comes in to remind us of his walk times in the morning, on our lunch break, and when we finish work. He enjoys lying on all the soft things in our home and disemboweling his toys.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families who want a meaningful, unhurried visit where the welfare of real rescued animals is the focus rather than performance or spectacle. All ages engage well here, and the charity shop and tearoom extend the visit naturally. Rainy days limit outdoor animal viewing significantly â clear weather is strongly recommended for first visits.

âWe took our dog to see santa đ , it's the first time I've been to Foal farm and it's a delightful farm with lovely kind staff, the event was busy with lots of friendly people and lovable dogs, it was a lovely afternoon despite the cold weather and it got us in the mood for Christmas đâ

âLovely place. Animals are well cared for. You can see that the animals are the focus of the business rather than simply an attraction for visitors. Lovely tea room and seating area out back too.â
